An old lady who was nearly blind, had three sons and they wanted to prove which one was the best son to her. So son #1 bought her a 15-room mansion. Son #2 bought her a beautiful Mercedes with a chauffeur included. Son #3 bought her a trained parrot. This parrot had been trained for 15 years to memorize the entire Bible. How useful his nearly blind mother would find that!

Well, the mother went to the first son and said, "Son, the house is just gorgeous but it's much too big for me. I really don't need the house." To her second son, she explained,"Son, the car is beautiful, but I don't drive and really don't like that driver, so please return the car."

Next, she went to son number three and said, "Son, I just want to thank you for that thoughtful gift. The chicken was small, but delicious."

선물을 받은 어머니가 장남을 찾아가 말했다. "아들아, 집은 정말 훌륭한데 나한텐 너무 크구나. 내겐 그 집이 필요 없다." 둘째 아들에게는 "차가 정말 잘 빠졌구나. 하지만 난 운전도 안 하고 그 기사 양반도 싫다. 가서 반품하렴"이라고 말했다.

마지막으로 셋째 아들에게 가서 그녀가 말했다. "아들아, 사려 깊은 선물을 줘서 고맙구나. 닭이 작긴 한데 맛있더라."
